This year the Unplug Art Experience continued our vision in MIAMI to create a reality that excludes the -isms of the world and includes positivity. We encourage you to disconnect from negativity and celebrate art in life, as we share a global dynamic of creativity. To continue to push the barriers of ordinary thinking and challenge the norm. In partnership with Rob Ayala and his art collective Fantasy In Color, we present to you: WE DREAM IN COLOR, here you will experience a colorful insight through artistry that makes an impact on our culture. We’ve also partnered with Harlem Arts Alliance organization that’s been a beacon of inspiration galvanizing the rich culture of Harlem, through arts and comprised of established and emerging visual and performing artists, art lovers, businesses and organizations that serve the arts and culture community in Harlem and the Greater New York City area.
Harlem World New York Fashion Week presented by Salute Life
Salute Life presents Harlem World an event for designers, creators, influencers, art enthusiasts and more who want to vibe in an atmosphere of some of the dopest people in NYC. No better place to do it then in the home of Dapper Dan, the one and only Harlem. There will be art on display and for purchase. If you’re looking for custom apparel, you get a chance to speak with some of the exclusive designers. Complimentary drinks served by drink sponsor BKLYN Blue Rum, and delectable eats sponsored by Adrii's Kitchen and Blondie's Divine Desserts. Harlem World is an event true to the culture! In addition to event envisioned for creatives, by creatives, we assembled a panel of dynamic cultural influencers who will be sharing their contributions to the industry and explain how Harlem has played a significant role in shaping culture all over the world. Partners such as Black Enterprise Magazine, Harlem Arts Alliance, Harlem Fashion Week, Harlem Havana and representatives from Timberland will also be present to engage with guests and share more about their brand and the influence/contributions to the culture.

“We Lit”, a quoted reaction from Techno Artistry exhibiting artist Kelly J who was describing her experience exhibiting for the first time with art and lifestyle platform Salute Life. On August 9th and 11th, 2018, Salute Life curated it’s follow up to their 2017 Miami Art Basel show entitled Unplug. For 2018, Salute Life created the Unplug Art Experience Tour partnered for the second year with startup giant WeWork Tower Place and new media partner Black Enterprise Magazine. Owners Kevin and Atibia curated 30 exceptional artists ranging in different mediums presenting an expansive range of taste and moods. Virtual Reality provided by Artist Life Vision
No Commissions presented by The Dean Collection
Bacardi & Swizz Beatz present the No Commission Art Fair and the Untameable House Party Concert Series at 35 NE 29th St. in Wynwood. The No Commission activation is a contemporary art fair experience curated by The Dean Collection to forge a direct link between artists' practices and art patronage. The fair provides exhibition space at no cost and artists retain 100 percent of sales proceeds to aid studio development.
TechnoArtistry Kickoff Recap
Salute Life kicked off our Unplug Experience Art Experience Tour entitled Techno Artistry Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 6pm - 8pm. It all went down at at WeWork Tower Place 3340 Peachtree RD. Northeast, Atlanta Georgia. Attendees had the chance to view augmented reality with the inclusion of Afrofuturism with award-winning New Media Artist, and Creative- Technologist, LaJune McMillan. LaJune's presentation at WeWork, will consist of integrating distinct personal experiences, and communicating those experiences through abstract art, with such mediums as virtual reality presentation that will leave you in awe. Artist Life Vision also setup their own AR/VR Experience Activation preview for guest to enjoy!
